Job Announcement
Human Resources University (HRU), a non-governmental organization for non profit, is seeking for a number of qualified native applicants to fill the positions of English lecturer/ instructor.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree of Master of Arts in English or Master of Education or equivalence
- Have at least two years of experience in teaching English at University level or equivalence
- Must have a good class management skill to support the student-centered approach
- Be able to design and develop creative and critical teaching materials
- Must have a good communication, managerial skill
- Must have a good command of Cambodian Culture
- Be physically fit
- Must be friendly, open and fair
- Love teaching and be willing to teach
Duties and Responsibility
- Teaching (employing student-centered approach for students’ effective learning)
- Working closely with Dean and Vice Dean of English to develop and/or improve the university curriculum for providing the quality of education
- Doing peer observation and giving constructive feedbacks to improve teaching and learning quality
- Holding and/or attending technical meetings for teaching improvement
- Working closely with their colleagues to develop creative and critical teaching materials for improving students’ learning capacity
- Offering good consultation to students about how to improve their learning
